Here's a look back at what happened at the Hub in June and July 2024.
Muffin Monday: INTERN-ational Breakfast & Events (June 24)
Muffin Monday is a monthly Members-only networking event with complimentary breakfast. Each month a new theme is chosen, and collaboration and continued conversation are encouraged. June's Muffin Monday brought us an eclectic menu as we represented our interns' home countries' breakfasts, along with some fan favorites as well! The interns also introduced the events they hosted in July:
"A Future with Education" (July 16): A presentation by OGH intern Niek on how Amsterdam students contribute to improving opportunities for young people in Burkina Faso through Stichting M.O.E.T. (Met Onderwijs Een Toekomst).
Run & Fun (July 17): An evening run with fellow Hubbers.
Be Creative with OGH (July 22): Time away from the workflow to engage the right side of the brain, with supplies to paint, draw, and create.
OGH Book Meetup (July 24): Hubbers shared their favorite books, from childhood favorites to recent reads.
New Member Orientation (July 8)
Each month the Hub celebrates our new Members with an orientation and then a Happy Hour. At this special New Member Orientation, we also celebrated the Hub's Operations Coordinator, Adam Morales', birthday! Hub Director Tony Rodriguez hosted and shared some adventures from visiting coworking spaces in London, Greece, and Barcelona this summer.
New this month: Lenz Bayas, Consultant, and Riley McCullen of Washington Plaza, the Official Hotel of OGH.

Needs, Leads & Brags (July 10)
This month's meeting, hosted by Hub Director Tony Rodriguez, posed the question: "Has this election season affected the way your organization is performing its mission?" (Staffing, funds allocation, marketing, travel, etc.)
New Member Lenz Bayas introduced himself and has already volunteered to host a future Pizza & Proficiency! Say hi to Lenz here.
August Break
August is a very quiet month at the Hub, so we postponed our regularly scheduled events (Muffin Monday, Needs, Leads, & Brags, New Member Orientation, and Pizza & Proficiency) and came back in September with even more fun!
