Our Impact

Everyone in the nonprofit world knows two things to be true:

  • There is never enough funding or other resources to do the work that is necessary.

  • Any social reform is far too complicated for any single organization to tackle alone.

The Open Gov Hub was a revolutionary new idea when we were founded in 2012. From day one, we have focused on leveraging our world-changing member network to be far more than the sum of its parts—we can achieve far more together than working alone.

As a dynamic meeting place (in-person and virtual), we continuously work to cultivate a unique environment based on shared values.

Whether by chatting at the coffee bar in our world-class coworking space, attending our frequent online, hybrid or in-person events, swapping requests on our member Slack channels, or participating in other ways, our members share resources and collaborate every day.

The Open Gov Hub team regularly curates connections and collaborations and continually invests in expanding our shared resources and member benefits services while listening to feedback, learning and adapting along the way.
