We welcomed our newest members in style! Our Happy Hour was filled with great food, lively conversations, and a chance for everyone to connect, collaborate, and unwind. Digital Literacy (November 13)
Open Gov Hub hosted an engaging session on media literacy, led by Amine Hachani, our fellow from the Community Solutions Program. Drawing from his work and experience, the session delved into how media literacy serves as a vital tool for building community resilience and preventing extremism, emphasizing the value of empowering individuals with critical thinking and informed decision-making skills.
Pizza & Proficiency: Leadership and Organizational Culture (November 19)
We were honored to have Meghan Slipka, a certified leadership and executive coach, join us. Our members came together for an inspiring event focused on leadership, organizational culture, and the power of community. Meghan shared practical strategies for building stronger leadership teams, fostering collaboration, and creating an environment that thrives on trust, communication, and shared vision. A big thank you to Meghan for her empowering presentation, and to everyone who attended and made the event so special.
Diwali Delight Happy Hour (November 20)
Athena Infonomics hosted a one-of-a-kind Happy Hour, bringing together community members to celebrate the festival of lights. The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, and delicious traditional Diwali food, creating a warm, festive atmosphere. We were thrilled to welcome the co-founder of Athena Infonomics, who shared their appreciation for the Athena team and their work in driving positive change through data.
