Open Gov Hub Blog: January 2024

Here's a look back at what happened at the Hub in January 2024.

Hub Potluck, January 17, 2024

Hub Potluck (January 17)

Thanks to everyone who attended and participated in the Hub Potluck! The tomato basil bread from Amanda of Emerging Public Leaders and the börek (aka spanakopita) from Nora of Development Gateway were especially big hits. Extra shout-out to the cucumber salad from Diana of Crown Agents!

Hope to see you at the next Hub event!

Pizza & Proficiency: ArcGIS Online demo, January 11, 2024

Pizza & Proficiency: ArcGIS Online (January 11)

Pizza & Proficiency is our new monthly event: professional development and skillshare opportunities, with lunch!

Roughly 20 Open Gov Hub Members were treated to pizza and an introductory demo of ArcGIS Online, a cloud-based mapping and analysis solution. It can be used to make maps, analyze data, and share and collaborate. This software is incredibly pricey on the open market, but Hub Members receive a free license with their Membership.
